VIK LEGAL successfully defended a client in a dispute with a state procurement entity regarding the legality of refusing to apply protective measures for Russian products during an auction in Moscow. The case involved an auction for a high-tech diagnostic device for neurosurgical operations, where the entity chose not to apply the mandatory restriction on the procurement of foreign-origin goods. Our client, representing a major Russian manufacturer of medical diagnostic equipment for neurophysiology, functional diagnostics, and rehabilitation, challenged the auction notice provisions by submitting clarification requests, which the entity declined. Our team supported the client in filing and defending the complaint before the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The regulatory body found the complaint justified and issued a directive to the entity to eliminate the established violation.
