VIK LEGAL successfully settled a long-running dispute between the national Chinese animation film company and its Russian partner, one of the country's leading animation studios. The proceedings in the Russian arbitrazh (commercial) court were initiated in 2016; our lawyers accepted assignment to represent the case in 2022, when the client sought legal assistance to appeal against the court of first instance’s decision. As a result of negotiations with the Russian side, the parties achieved a complete reconciliation, under the terms of which they fully waived mutual claims and complaints.
